Christie Hussey brings more than 16 years of sales and ticketing experience with professional sports teams, entertainment venues and cultural facilities to TicketReturn. She joined the organization in 2013 with responsibility for new business development.

Hussey most recently served as Director of Sales & Membership at Discovery Place in Charlotte, where she developed a strategic direction for ticket, sponsorship, membership and special event sales and service for three museums.  While there, Hussey developed a group sales department and a strategic approach for utilizing call center staff for outbound sales.

She began her sports career in 1998 with the NBA Charlotte Hornets and spent the next 12 years developing strategies and guiding top-performing sales teams that consistently met and exceeded revenue goals for the Hornets, WNBA Charlotte Sting, Arena Football League Carolina Cobras and Charlotte Bobcats.

A native of Alabama, Hussey graduated from Kennesaw State University with a degree in business administration. She resides in Charlotte with her husband, Bo, and daughter, Erika, and is an active volunteer in her church and local school system.
